9/26/2023 0 Comments Native instruments kontakt big surI am currently on the macOS 64-bit version of Reaper. I have tried this on both the macOS 64-bit and macOS 10.15+(Catalina/Big Sur), same result = no MIDI Keyboard response in Kontakt 6. system preferences, does not appear such a message. I tried both, rebooting Mac and rebooting Traktor. Hey guys, sorry but I cant get it either. How do I get the plugin Kontakt 6 to respond to my MIDI keyboard in Reaper? Hi all, just wondering if there is any way to get the X1 Mk1 working with Big Sur OS or is it now just an expensive paper weight Any help is greatly appreciated. Kontakt 6 works with my MIDI Keyboard in Ableton, so all is good there. Just going to state the obvious, I am not using the standalone version of Kontakt 6. They DO respond to the graphic keyboard within Kontakt 6 that appears as an option in the "Workspace Management" dropdown menu - however, that is a very awkward and cumbersome way to perform any Kontakt Instrument. Ive reinstalled Kontakt and it works perfectly out-with Studio One. ARKHIS is a specialized instrument for scoring ultra-modern, orchestral soundtracks that bring scenes to life. There was a pop up randomly asking for permission to access my external drive (where KONTAKT library is) It didnt look totally legit so I didnt allow and now none of the sounds will play in KONTAKT. When I load up other Native Instruments synths such as Absynth 5 and FM8 they respond well to my MIDI Keyboard, excellent! However, when I load up the plugin Kontakt 6 and attempt to load an instrument, none of the Kontakt instruments respond to my MIDI keyboard. Weird issue - Opened a song in Studio One. I made a new virtual instrument track in Reaper and it is responding to MIDI. The Native Instruments plugin Kontakt 6 is not seeing/responding to my MIDI controller/keyboard. I am using macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 on a new iMac with an Intel 3.8 GHz 8 Core i7 processor. In the plugin Kontakt 6 user interface, I had to go to "MIDI Ch" and set it to OMNI.
